I like prefolds for every day use, mainly because I’m doing EC with my daughter. Thank God for Snappis! :) I like an AIO when we go out though, and I like the absorbancy, slim profile, and wickiness (if that’s a word) of the bumGenius 3.0 pocket AIO.

  • Let me just say that cloth diapers in general are an obsessions… uhhh… passion. I am not sure why but I love, love, love the cloth! My FAVORITE right now are the bumGenius bamboo fitted. I love how they fit my baby girl, they are super soft, and pretty darn absorbent. I have also heard that bamboo has an antibacterial component to it which is great when it comes to fighting diaper rash — although, we have not had to deal with that at all in her wee five months. I am pretty much a fan of all the bumGenius products!

Of course, there is something that I love about pre-folds, too. Splurge and go premium, folks. Worth it… trust me.

I love BumGenius AIO’s. The answer is simple: my husband will change the diaper. : ) But seriously, they are very absorbant. Additionally, the trim fit makes it easier for DD to wear her cute little pants. I’m trying to like the pocket dipes more… but so far AIO’s are my fave.

my husband likes haute pockets. i love fuzzi bunz. i am dying to try bum genius and the new gro baby diapering system!

    thanks for the entry.

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby #3, but the first one to wear cloth diapers so I don’t currently have a favorite (my others are much older and I didn’t know anything about CD for the first 2). I have a small stash of chinese pre-folds with some wahm covers and a few covers I’ve sewn myself. I would love to try out some pockets or some AIOs.

  • I haven’t used them, but I am liking the look of the new FuzziBuns AIO with the elastic button sizing thing.

    BumGenius products

Prefolds are best! With a thirsties diaper cover. In my opinion they are easier to launder than the bum genius that I also really like. My son gets diaper rash a lot, and the diaper creams all wash out of the prefolds much easier than it does in the pocket diapers.

  • Nancy

I mostly have homemade diapers. of the couple of diapers made by someone else (besides my mom)I like my Preston’s Pants pocket diaper.

  • Emi

It is a very difficult question, but I’d have to say my Happy Heiny One Size diapers in SNAPS would be my favorite overall. Different diapers have their perks at different ages and for different purposes, but these have been the consistent “go-to” diapers during the day no matter what stage my DD has been in. And she can’t undo the snaps like she can velcro!!! I own MANY brands. These HH diapers consit of about 1/3 of my 3 dozen+ stash (and I only have one baby! :-) ) Check out my reviews at: http://theclothdiaperreport.blogspot.com

bumGenius Organic AIO with snaps–I love how trim they are–no problems with leaks and I prefer snaps over velcro, just because it holds up better and my daughter can’t get it off.

  • Jill Hobbs

So far my favorite diaper is either SwaddleBees one size or homemade all in one that I have. The swaddlebees because of the diapers I’ve checked out it’s the easist to use. The all in one because you don’t have to mess with stuffing an insert into the diaper. My daughter-in-law is having triplets and ease of use it going to be important.

  • Jamie Landis

My favorite cloth diapers are BumGenius! They are so close to disposables, which makes it really easy for my husband to get into it and help out! haha! They’re also so adorable.

  • My favorite is the Blueberry one size. They are super absorbant, just add an extra hemp insert and they last all night, I haven’t had one leak. They are also quite trim, so my son’s close still fit!

I love side-snapping diapers, they have the best fit and easiest to launder…My current favorite cloth diaper is the Baby Soft Wraps AI2 (BSW AI2) with eco-soaker, because it is much like my original favorite the knickernappies pocket diaper with loopy do. I started using knickernappies a year ago and loved them, and this spring I found the Baby Soft Wraps as I was trying to prepare a diaper stash for baby #2. We’ve used the BSW AI2s with our older child for a while now and loved the fleece around the leg–extra protection from leaks, wicking and red marks– and with AI2s we use less covers, since the soakers snap in and switch out. I hear that knickernappies is releasing a One Size pocket diaper at the end of this month, and am very excited about that news!

  • GroBabys are my favorite. I love the colors and the feel of them. They are a great concept and can’t wait to get more!

  • Sonja Bostrom

I like BumGenius 3.0. A great diaper with cool colors. I like that you can use them as a pocket or just lay the insert on top and only change that if it is wet!

  • So far our favorites are the bumgenius OS 3.0 but I just got a rumparooz and fuzzibunz to try out for the first time so we will see if we find a new favorite.

  • Klarissa N.

I love the bumGenius organic one size all in ones! They’re so easy to use, and you use the same diapers from birth to potty training. And I just had to go for the organic cotton, though I think I’d like to try something with hemp or bamboo.

  • So far I’m in love with the Bum Genius 3.0! Very easy to use :)

  • Laura

I love bumgenius one size diapers. They are so versatile and easy to use. I can even convince my husband to use them!

  • Holly C

I knew I wanted the majority of our stash to be a one size pocket diaper. I tried a sampler pack of 4 different brands, and I fell in love with the Tiny Tush Elite. I prefer aplix, and their’s has held up really well. I also love that it has three snap settings instead of two, allowing for a more customized fit as my little guy grows. The fleece inside stays soft and doesn’t seem to get quite as pilly. My favorite part might be the way the pocket works. I like that it is a little tighter and that the back flap is inside the pocket rather than outside. It seems to be less messy to take out the inserts. TT also has a slightly trimmer fit through the crotch. They fit my little guy like a dream! The fit is so perfect for us, that I can even use them overnight if our regular overnight dipes are dirty. I always pick up another TT Elite whenever I see a good price…even though we don’t really need anymore!

I am new to cloth diapers. I have a two year old son and five month old daughter – and due to the current state of our finances I have begun to really look into cloth diapers. From all the cd mom’s I have talked to and what I have looked up I think Chinese pre-folds with a Blueberry or other similar “grow with me” cover is going to be the best option for our family. I can’t wait to try CDs! Thanks for your “favs” listed. They have given me some great info.

  • Well, I don’t have a favorite yet! I am expecting our third child soon and this will be my first time cloth diapering. I am SO excited. Cloth diapers have changed so much from what I used on my little brothers who were much younger than me!

  • Heather

I really like the bumgenious 3.0 it fits my son perfectly, to bad I only have one!

  • Rhonda

My favorite diaper is FuzziBunz. (Probably because it is the only thing we have ever used other than a brief time of prefolds, snappis, and plastic pants!) I started using my medium FuzziBunz when I switched to cloth diapers when my oldest daughter was 11 months. She potty trained out of them and my son, who has been through x-small and small FuzziBunz is into her old mediums at 13 months. They are so easy to use and so cheap now that I am using them on the second child!

  • Andrea

My favorite diaper is the Bum Genius 3.0 I love the fit and the idea that it should until my son is potty trained. I really like the Bum Genius organic AIO too. It is really nice for outings.

  • Lisa

We are a FuzziBunz family. I started with prefolds and loved them… but my husband did not. He kept changing the baby into a disposable! After splurging on a couple of small FBs, he started using the cloth diapers. Now Dad INSISTS that the baby be in a cloth diaper. He even washes them. I’d like to branch out, but I’m afraid to mess with a good thing.

  • Larisa S

Seeing how cloth diapering is SO addicting (who knew?!), I would be hard pressed in choosing a favorite. I like many for different reasons, but I my favorite brand (so far)would have to be Imse Vimse. It seems I can’t go wrong everything I have tried of theres I absolutly love!

  • I like prefolds and bumkins covers, but I LOVE AIOs. I’ve been wanting to give bumgenius a try!

  • Genny

I haven’t tried cloth diapers, but we’re really wanting to use cloth diapers for our little boy who’s due in July and I am loving the look of the Bum Genius and Happy Heiny’s one size diapers. They look incredibly easy to use.

  • My favorite so far are my xs bumGenius all in ones, because my baby was born small, but she’s quickly growing out of those and her other diapers are fitting her better as she grows. I like our softbums and our organic bumGenius. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • Stefanie

I love all my cloth diapers, but I would have to say my BumGenius OS are my fave! They are nice and trim on my son and so absorbent! They’re great for night time. I want to try the BG Organic with snaps next!

  • Kathy

I don’t have a favorite …haven’t found one I like! I’d love to try out the bumgenius system!

  • Angie

I mainly use Chinese prefolds and Thirsties covers. Frugality was the name of the game when we first started with CD, and we’ve just stuck with them since. Its so easy to use them and I love the PUL, because I never have a wet lap! Now, I’m getting to the point where I’d love to try some of the newer styles. Thanks!

  • Erin

I LOVE Fuzzi Bunz more than anything in the world!! I love that I can stuff them with as much or as little as I need, I love that my daughter can’t get the snaps apart and run around naked at inopportune moments, and I love the colors and prints they come up with! The fleece is oh-so-soft, and the resale value is great, too. So hands down, it’s my favorite. BUT, bumGenius AIO’s 3.0 are a close second–we use them all the time for outings, baby-sitters, and “oh my gosh I forgot to do the wash last night” moments. :-)

  • We are new to cloth diapering and have only tried a few brands, so far from what we tried I like swaddlbees AIO the best!
